I liked this. The first thing I noticed that I liked about the movie was how good-looking Benicio Del Toro was in it. Seriously, he was beautiful here. Apart from that, I soon noticed how good each performance was across the board. I think almost every actor plays their character perfectly, and as such I think a lot of really funny lines are delivered really well. I think the following was my favorite line from the movie:
“I’ve got some extra-loud blanks just in case.”
“Oh, in case we have to deafen ‘em to death?”
I think Dennis Farina gives a great performance as Avi here, and I love how his character interacts with Vinnie Jones’s Tony, as both of them give each character a ton of likability and entertainment value, causing seeing them together to be a delight. I also think the movie gets a lot more entertaining as it it goes along, as for a while I didn’t really love it apart from what I’ve already listed. I think by the end it’s become a really fun piece of cinema, and I quite liked it because of that. Overall, I recommend this.
