Went in very predisposed to liking this after being blown away by a show of theirs I had the good fortune to catch last year.

This movie is so good when it’s just the group operating fully on their chemistry together. And it’s so bad when it’s forcing the “romantic” subplot and even the Fassbender stuff drags a bit.

Realized that some of its direction reminds me of The Wackness, which I haven’t had to think about in forever. All that said, I don’t see how most people who catch this wouldn’t find something to enjoy.

You really, uhh, don’t see a lot of biopics about musicians that have been around for less than a decade so this is kinda cool in that regard too. I hope it gets a lot of eyes on it! It’s so much fun.
