i used to watch this movie at least once every week, this was peak cinema to me as a kid. still fun and a good blast from the past for me, even though i will say that it’s probably much worse than i give it credit for. nostalgia for the win!!

Marley & Me 2008
i haven’t rewatched this movie since my family got a dog and holy fucking shit i am still sobbing as i write this. nothing is as special as a bond between a pet and an owner, especially a dog and an owner. it’s just the most heartbreaking shit possible to lose that bond. this is the gold standard of dog movies and i stand by that whole heartedly. fuck i love marley.
plus that scene where jen buries the necklace with marley has to be one of the most tragic scenes in any movie ever.
