The Beast

The Beast

“Nothing can happen to us now. The catastrophe is behind us. We’re bored shitless.” A techno-amorous future fairy tale (in the traditional grim sense) where love and labor is arbitrated and fated by artificial intelligence. The past must be obliterated, as well as all the messy emotions associated with it in order for the relentless futurelessness of AI to proceed unabated.

Left the theater in a daze, mind’s still reeling. Léa Seydoux was magnetic. She should only make movies like this and Crimes of the Future.
