  Script a bit all over the shop, but worth the price of admission to see Culkin, who carries bigtime. There's just a vibe and a physicality that he's 100% inside during every moment. I connected w his perfomance a lot. The film's and Culkin's ending note is so sad and potent that I bumped up a half star. Film is also quite pretty often. Watch !!!

  Eugghhhhh. This film is disgusting and horrible. But it’s also so smart, and controlled. It knows exactly what it's doing. It is incredibly brutal, and realistic in its depiction of its violence. It’s not paced like a traditional horror film. The first three characters to get killed are murdered within the space of 15 minutes. There is so much imagery and action that is burnt in my brain, and I’m sure will inform me in any horror filmmaking I do…
