Splatterhouse by way of Carpenter.

While wearing its influences on it’s sleeves, it feels like more of an earnest attempt than some of other neo exploitation fare.

Even if the dialogue is sometimes rather
 cliche and any extended time with it kinda slows the film down, it’s a pretty fun film


Postnote:

Pretty well stacked cast.

The kids kinda annoying, I think I’m just 9/10 against young characters if they’re not the whole cast basically.

The red blue drenched lighting could be a bit much by the end. 

Begos one to watch for shear entertainment value.
