Unbridled joy every single time. I’m not sure words can really express my undying love for this movie. Literally from beginning to end, every single aspect of this is perfect in every way. The animation is in a league of its own, with each vibrant frame utilizing color like I have never seen before to elevate this to a whole other level. The story effortlessly keeps you engaged from start to finish with a top tier cliffhanger that leaves you…

At some point, you gotta decide for yourself who you gonna be. Can't let nobody make that decision for you.

A film that is so undeniable in its impact to the point where I consider it to be the greatest coming of age story in all of film. It’s an absolute masterclass in production in every single aspect, led by beautiful directing from Barry Jenkins. The visuals and score in this both just pieces of true art, with an incredibly…

This is definitely a step up from the first one, since it pretty much takes a lot of things about the first one and just makes it better. Naomi Scott is absolutely insane as the lead in this and this builds suspense a lot better with its storytelling. The solid scares from the first one continue here with a crazy amount of jump scares and gore. Very very solid horror overall.

Nothing really that crazy, but has some great camera work that lead to some extremely effective jumpscares.

When I first saw the trailers for this, my expectations were honestly pretty high and I’m happy to say that this pretty much lived up to all of them. I was kinda cautious cause I know Shyamalan is a director that takes huge swings but doesn’t always deliver, but I think he shows his amazing storytelling skills he has that is seen in some of his other films. Having a cat and mouse chase at a concert venue is genius…

Feels so very earnest and human (without any human characters but you know what I mean) and is complemented by amazing animation and visuals. It’s no The Wild Robot, but I can’t necessarily be mad at the love this will probably ultimately get during award season.
