Larry Cohen uses Hitchcockian suspense (and humor) to indict the Healthcare industry. What should be a tool for saving lives is twisted into a deathtrap for experimentation.
Eric Roberts is as charming as ever, Red Buttons is as funny as ever, and Eric Braeden is delightfully deranged as The Doctor. Don't get caught up trying to logisticly follow the story and let yourself be enveloped in the personality and character so sorely lacking in today's genre films.
More compelling, exciting, mysterious, and funny then Paddy Chayefsky and Arthur Hiller's portentous 1971 "comedy" The Hospital.

You need culture and memory to have good taste.

    Absorbingly beautiful and romantic.

It's easy to make fun of the French but this film really shows off their unique and wonderful people.

    Pornographic & masturbatory.
Perverts childhood escapism and fun while infantilizing adult men with the worst of their juvenile impulses.
Hugh's fake cgi abs are embarrassing.

    Don't Believe The Hype!

A very Racist movie about how Black Men should be kept docile and preferably intellectually retarded as to dutifully serve their White Woman Master . . . I mean "Sister" . . .
I'm pretty sure Fede intended it as just an AI metaphor but this is also stupid liberal nonsense.
The movie could have been watchable if they didn't get bogged down in resurrecting Ian Holm from the dead and repeating lines from previous films so the audience can have their cheer moments.
Just watch Leviathan (1989) or hell, watch Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation (2004).
