The Heroic Trio 1993
While the costume and set design might make you believe this is basically a chinese superhero movie... it's not. It's still at its core a hong kong police film with a wuxia plot. I loved it but its very cheesy. i feel like a lost of westerners will like to make fun of it, especially because every scene has a very visible wire, and the special effects (apart from the explosions) are very amateur ish but i didnt mind it…

The Navigator: A Medieval Odyssey 1988
This movie turned our modern day city into a horror movie. And if you really think about it, that concept really does work. We're so used to the city but it's a scary thing with all the noise and the machines and the lifeless scenery.
The beautiful stories the characters go through are great too. A lot of foils and ideas of cycles at play here.
The religious imagery is great and some shots really are breathtaking.

The OST and set designs dont get any better than this. Everything works together so well for the scene. It's a long runtime but it went by soo fast. deadpool 3 mini review :
felt like half a movie , felt like this had no antagonist (or at least no good one), side characters did not matter, deadpool has 0 character arc,the cameos didnt hit as well (i felt no emotional response sorry, happens sometimes with cheap tricks like that), cgi was so bad
the music usage in the movie was really THE outstanding part of it . very cool. also it was funny and the script was witty for sure. also its named deadpool & wolverine since it cant be named deadpool 3, as nothing in the previous movies mattered in it.
