Very bizarre and exciting. Unforgettable shots (Thomas' approach to the castle, Ellen at night, Count Orlok eating the girls, and many more). Amazing performances, especially from Lily-Rose Depp, who was truly truly haunting. So good, so disgusting.

I had no expectations going into it and I enjoyed it. Good (sexy) performances from pedro and paul, denzel was insanely good, I liked the dynamic between the twin emperors. Didn’t like lucilla, the film as a whole lacked a lot in emotional depth and narrative imo which in this case i did not mind too much bc it just felt like a fighting movie and I really liked the fighting soooo
