Entertaining, tonally confused mess.

The acting, directing and writing are all over the place. Some scenes feel like they’re straight out of a gritty noir. Other scenes feel like they’re straight out of a shitty cartoon.

Jeff Goldbum‘s performance has to be the highlight of the film. His acting and line delivary is so akward, that he comes across like a coked up looney toons character. Almost every scene he’s in turns into an outlandish comedy bit.
