The thing now is, Twin Peaks is hitting like a hammer. Best thriller I've seen and for me, it is just perfect. Its obscure nature is really something for me. I mean there is still left to see, but the episodes I saw were enough, so I will say that this is my favorite crime I have seen and so it beats "Memories of Murder". GG to Bong Joon-ho.

I find it fascinating to watch a film that finally shows the low points of America. In this example, it's racism, which is addressed, for example, by mentioning the N-word. Discrimination generally plays a role in the film, especially as gay people are also judged less favourably. The film also refers to the high crime rate and disrespectful society we find ourselves in, which can sometimes be seen in Travis' taxi rides.
