This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Watching The Game felt like being thrown into a nightmare I couldn’t wake up from — and I mean that in the best way possible. Michael Douglas is perfect as a man unraveling under the weight of a reality that’s constantly shifting beneath him. Every twist had me second-guessing what I thought I knew, and just when I thought I had it figured out, it pulled me in deeper. Sure, it flirts with going off the rails, but that chaos is what makes it stick. Days later, I’m still thinking about it — and still a little paranoid.

I walked into Saw III expecting gore, but I didn’t expect to be wheezing by the end. That brain surgery scene was so insane I genuinely don’t know if I’ll ever look at a scalpel the same way again. The acting? Questionable. The plot? Unhinged. But somehow, this chaotic mess had me and my friend laughing more than we should’ve. Pure accidental horror-comedy brilliance — and I kind of respect it for that😂.

This film is a masterpiece. Drawn to it by my love for poetry and literature, I discovered a story that far exceeded my expectations. It weaves a poignant narrative about the duality of poetry its capacity to inspire both profound beauty and deep sorrow. The emotional depth and the delicate interplay of joy and pain make it truly unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend experiencing this extraordinary work of this incredible movie.

I love watching horrors at night, it’s been a while since I’ve found myself heading home at 4 a.m. after watching a movie with a friend, feeling this shaken and disturbed—strangely, I almost missed that feeling. Easily the best horror experience of the year so far. All of it could’ve been avoided if they hadn’t let their reckless curiosity take over. Grateful for instinct and self-preservation.
