the first time you’re the recipient of a BOFA joke it’s absolutely devastating.

so much to relate to here - like yeah the older skater kids I hung out with as a kid also got me violently high for the first time and it was a nightmare. this does a great job at capturing that weird space when you’re too young and inexperienced to hang out with the older kids you think are cool, and too “mature” and socially awkward to hang out with kids your own age.

anyone growing up at this time had unlimited access to social media as it was forming and evolving before our eyes, and how the hell could anyone have known how damaging it would be to our social lives and self perception? let alone 13-year-old boys? 

so sweet, so wise, so funny. a great balance of compelling familial drama and cringe comedy that is universally relatable. I loved it.
