Steve Harringtonβs review published on Letterboxd:
another one to add to the Toni Collette Cinematic Universe of High-Powered Women with a Southern Accent π«‘
why was I lowkey on the edge of my seat the whole time?!! ππ³π± like I NEEDED to know what happened next omfg πππ¬Β
pacing was excellent and perfect tbh for this kind of movie / plot β never felt like it dragged or gave us extraneous details to consider, everything was perfectly intentional and well-placedΒ
stacked cast goes HARD β I wasnβt expecting this many actors / actresses I recognized starring in this! !! (admittedly I did go into watching this with very little info other than obviously Nicholas Hoult starred in it)Β
tbh kind of a terribly heavy movie to mull over if you really take a minute to sit with some of the questions the film poses to the viewer from multiple angles and perspectives, and to consider the broader justice system as well
