A fascinating and unique concept unfortunately diluted by jaded homophobia and(/or) jingoism - an occurrence all too familiar.
A menagerie of insecurities are thrust unto our boyish but nevertheless despicable protagonists, their obsession with fitting into heteronormative culture an inexorable, testosterone-infused tsunami.
While there is one gay character, he's killed off very quickly and is portrayed in a rather pejorative light - his life appears to be of no value, his character a mere prop for what was next to come.…
