FOOTBALL

 Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will be the featured guest at the United Disabilities Services Foundation Gala on May 8 at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square.Barkley will sit for a fireside chat-style interview, conducted by Eagles insider Dave Spadaro, as part of the event. Also, there will be an exclusive meet-and-greet session with Barkley prior to the gala. Raffle tickets to be sold through March 31 will give 10 winners access to this part of the event. Raffle tickets cost $100; a maximum of 500 will be sold. The drawing to determine the winners will be held April 1 and be live streamed on the UDS Foundation Facebook page. RUNNING

 The F&M Track Club welcomes competitive runners to join it at the Franklin & Marshall College track at 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesdays for weekly track workouts. More information regarding other aspects of the club, including membership, is available on the club website at fandmtrackclub.com.

SQUASH

 Free squash court time is being offered at Lancaster Country Day School, 725 Hamilton Road, Lancaster. Rackets, balls and goggles are available to borrow, but indoor court sneakers with non-marking soles must be worn. Times are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. No registration is necessary. PICKLEBALL

 Greater Elizabethtown Area Recreation and Community Services is hosting pick-up pickleball on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:15-3:15 p.m. and Fridays from 6-8 p.m. at GEARS Community Center Gym, 70 S. Poplar St., Elizabethtown. Equipment will be available. Each participant will be required to pay a fee ($5 for members, $6 for non-members). No pre-registration is required.  Greater Elizabethtown Area Recreation and Community Services is holding beginner lessons for pickleball for those age 16 and up. Learn basic techniques, rules and strategies. SOCCER

 The Lancaster Inferno will hold its inaugural Kicking It Forward Gala, featuring legendary soccer announcer JP Dellacamera, on Feb. 1. As keynote speaker, Dellacamera will share his perspective on the journey of women’s professional soccer in the United States. Attendees will be able to meet him and special guest Carrie Taylor.  GEARS is offering a Youth Indoor Soccer Program for boys and girls grades 1-4. This program, to be led by Elizabethtown College soccer players, is designed to be instructional, providing an opportunity for youth to participate in low-key games. It will take place from from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Saturdays Feb. 8-March 22 (except March 8) at the Bear Creek Intermediate School Gym, 1459 Sheaffer Road, Elizabethtown. TENNIS

 Iddy Biddy Tennis will teach children ages 3-6 to play quickly using large-sized RED balls and smaller racquets, nets and courts. The ABC’s (Agility, Balance & Coordination) will be developed through fun activities and games. The class will be taught by Brenda McBride, Elizabethtown High School tennis coach. UMPIRING

• The Lancaster Youth Baseball League, for players ages 10-17, is in need of new umpires for the 2025 season. Good way to earn some extra money.
