General: water

Description:

Water (chemical formula: H2O) is a transparent fluid which forms the world's streams, lakes, oceans and rain, and is the major constituent of the fluids of organisms.

Water is a liquid at standard ambient temperature and pressure, but it often co-exists on Earth with its solid state, ice; and gaseous states, steam (water vapor). It also exists as snow, fog, dew and clouds.

Use:
  • Use the water tag on all images in which water is visible. This includes; lakes, streams, oceans, ponds, puddles, filled baththubs and sinks and likewise.
  • Do not use the water tag for steam or ice; these have no tags on Konachan.
  • Do not use the water tag for clouds, snow, or wet characters; use their own separate tags (clouds, snow, and wet respectively) instead for those phenomena.
  • There are separate tags for waterfalls, rain, and underwater which each imply the water tag. You can tag water on images with these if you want, but it's more efficient to just tag them with waterfall, rain, and/or underwater as appropriate and let the system handle the rest.
