Drunken Strawberries
- 1 16oz container of strawberries
- 1 bottle champagne or Prosecco (doesn’t need to be a good bottle)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Place strawberries in a large bowl. Pour over champagne to completely cover strawberries.
- Cover with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate. Let strawberries soak up the champagne for 4 hours (or overnight)
- Drain in a colander and thoroughly pat strawberries dry with paper towels.
- Roll strawberries in sugar and serve immediately.
TIPS:
- You can add vodka to the mix to make them even boozier
