We have officially “adopted” the Seabin in Milan's Darsena with a ceremony in the presence of the local authorities. This initiative follows the installation of our first Seabin on the Italian Island of San Giorgio in the Venice Lagoon last year. 🌊 The Seabin, a floating “bin” equipped with an advanced filtering system, can capture over 500 kg of small waste annually, including plastics, microplastics, and microfibres. Through these actions, we are strengthening our collaboration with LifeGate as members of the Water Defenders Alliance, while we continue to reduce plastic waste in our operations and reaffirm our commitment to protecting ecosystems, in line with the principles of our broader sustainability strategy. #Saipem #EngineeringForASustainableFuture #Sustainability #PlasticPollution

We have announced our third-quarter and nine-month 2024 financial results. The continued improvement in our economic and financial performance confirms the strong market demand, the competitiveness of our offering, and the execution capabilities of the Group. Here are some key highlights of our achievements: 🔸 Revenue: €10,130 million, marking a 21% increase compared to the corresponding period of 2023 🔸 Net profit: € 206 million, significantly higher compared to the previous year 🔸 Order intake: € 13.5 billion, with approximately €6.5 billion secured in the third quarter 🔸 Backlog: exceeding € 33.2 billion, reflecting growth compared to 31 December 2023 We are also pleased to announce an upgrade in our 2024 guidance. We continue to prioritize operational excellence and flexibility in project execution, fostering collaboration across business areas, and working alongside our clients in navigating the energy transition. 📣 Gruppo Hera and Saipem's CO₂ capture project has been selected to receive nearly €24 million in funding from the EU Innovation Fund.   Our #Bluenzyme solution, powered by the enzymatic “CO2 Solutions by Saipem” technology, is expected to be applied to capture CO₂ emissions at the waste-to-energy plant of the subsidiary Herambiente in Ferrara, Italy. It will be the first industrial-scale example of CCS applied to a plant of this type in Italy and among the first in Europe. 📣 A new milestone achieved offshore Western Australia!  We have completed the installation of the Scarborough Energy Project trunkline. Saipem’s Castorone, one of the world's largest pipelaying vessels with one of the most advanced technologies, efficiently installed 433 km of pipeline and more than 36,000 lengths of pipe at a depth of up to 1,400 m. The trunkline will connect the Scarborough gas field to the onshore Pluto LNG production facility. 👏 Well done to the team for their competence and dedication!  We are pleased to have contributed to the achievement of this important milestone for an infrastructure that, once complete, will be one of the world’s lowest carbon sources of energy.
