Callista Dara Ninggar, our Data Specialist at Frisian Flag Indonesia, shares her experience of collaborating with the HR team to maximize the benefits of a modeling system. During her Management Trainee period, Dara played a pivotal role in developing a machine learning model that leveraged HR data to enhance our employee retention strategy. This innovative solution contributed to the company winning the Bronze Award for Excellence in HR Innovation from Human Resources Online. One of the major challenges we faced was that not all employee data could be quantified. To tackle this, she created a model that analyzed historical data to identify patterns and trends. By examining the characteristics of the data, we were able to pinpoint high-risk individuals. Incorporating qualitative data into our analysis led to promising results, allowing us to accurately predict trends and establish effective mitigation and retention plans. As we advanced the project, we added more variables to further enhance the model's accuracy. Dara also spoke about her nature. As someone who is innovative by nature, the role of Data Specialist was incredibly fulfilling for her; it was rewarding to uncover insights that were often overlooked but quantifiable. The Young Flaggers Internship 2024, an internship program by Frisian Flag Indonesia, officially kicked off on October 1, 2024, with a comprehensive full-day onboarding session. This year, we are excited to welcome interns who emerged as winners in the Business Competition 2023, earning their golden tickets to our internship program upon graduation.   The day began with a warm welcome, followed by an in-depth presentation of the company profile and an overview of the program introduction. We covered essential topics, including WHO code, social media guidelines, company regulations, safety in the workplace, and data privacy.   To foster engagement, we hosted a fun quiz and provided a guided factory tour.
