Your Go-To Fairy Bread

Your Go-To Fairy Bread

By law, birthdays must be celebrated with white bread and sprinkles.

Go-To is 10! We’ve heard this only happens once a decade, so we’re going to celebrate.

How? Well we're Australian owned and made. And Australia, by law, is a country where all birthdays must be celebrated with white bread and sprinkles.

This is your go-to fairy bread recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Bread
  • Butter
  • Sprinkles
  • Nostalgia

Method:

  1. You’re going to need bread. Not just any bread, but the fluffiest, starchiest, whitest bread you can find.
  2. Next you need butter. Gooey, room temperature, spreadable butter of the highest or lowest possible quality. It really doesn’t matter. But get lots. Lots.
  3. Spread the butter all over your bread so that there is no real estate left whatsoever.
  4. Then we’re onto sprinkles. Or as we Aussie’s call them: 100s & 1000s. There are two ways to go about this: you can a) create a vat of sprinkles to place your bread in, face down, and get full coverage, or b) you can just sprinkle the sprinkles*!
  5. Finally, it’s time to cut the fairy bread. But there is only one (correct) way and it is not into rectangles (that would be illegal.) You must always cut fairy bread on the diagonal to create adorable triangles.

*Don’t worry if you make a mess. It actually looks very cute on the plate.

Enjoy!
