The Ads on this site have become absolutely unbearable lately. I understand you gotta make money but holy **** it needs to tone down or I gotta leave here.
Pop up videos on the top and bottom of the page constantly taking up 75% of my screen. **** off.

Thank you for the feedback. We made a change in June where the video ad with an anchor at the bottom of the page would only appear on the splash pages and never on pages where there are posts being read or composed. We felt this would make it less intrusive since less time is spent on those pages as you toggle between forums and topics.
We also eliminated multiple ads at the top of the page while also moving the Wiretap news box to the bottom. This makes a particularly big difference on mobile.
We'll continue to try to find ways to make the ad experience less intrusive.
