Those lists are just summer talking head fodder for ESPN. There's no universe in which Megatron should be higher than Rodgers, and I'm a big fan of Megatron. Hell, Rodgers should be higher than Moss, too. There should only be two football players ahead of Aaron at this point - Brady and Manning. You could credibly argue Mahomes, but longevity counts against him for now.

From when I actually followed it, like 5 years ago, NASCAR teams are extremely dependent on their sponsors to pay things and bottom tier teams can be week to week in terms of actually getting on the track because of it.

This seems like a midtier, newer team, so a safe bet to make money, but I don't know if the ceiling is that high in this sport.

Will just take it that this is real, and enjoy the sweet little chuckle it brought me.

Names so good they generally had me briefly pondering "I assume this is surname, first name format but I'm not entirely sure..."

In related news, the All Lacrosse Name Team was excellent as always.

I lived and coached youth sports in Montana and I can assure you, those names are real.

I have some distant family in those parts and I, too, can assure you those names are real. Remember this meme from like 10 years ago? It's legitimately this.

It's to the point that I thought at first that their names were "Attack" without much of a second thought until I saw "Midfield."

Well, my Friday work plans have shifted quite a bit, and my friend's wedding this weekend is impacted as many of his relatives had their flights cancelled today.

Anyone else affected by the Crowdstrike outage?

I can't log in to my company laptop, and when I do I wouldn't be surprised if one or more apps I need to use will be down.

I need to log 40 hours of training per year, so I am currently watching videos on a 3rd party site while folding laundry.

This whole thing reminds of how fragile our society is and not if, but when, something like the Carrington Event happens again we are screwed.

Some at my company are affected, some aren't. I'm not although I'm tempted to say I am and call it a day.

It sounds like Southwest and maybe Delta were not affected. All other airlines are. And once flights are cancelled it obviously affects the whole day even though flight systems appear to be back up.

IT 101 is you install new/updated code on weekends. That wouldn't matter for flights but for other things it would have made a difference.
