Will just take it that this is real, and enjoy the sweet little chuckle it brought me.
Names so good they generally had me briefly pondering "I assume this is surname, first name format but I'm not entirely sure..."

It's to the point that I thought at first that their names were "Attack" without much of a second thought until I saw "Midfield."

Anyone else affected by the Crowdstrike outage?

I can't log in to my company laptop, and when I do I wouldn't be surprised if one or more apps I need to use will be down.
I need to log 40 hours of training per year, so I am currently watching videos on a 3rd party site while folding laundry.
This whole thing reminds of how fragile our society is and not if, but when, something like the Carrington Event happens again we are screwed.

Some at my company are affected, some aren't. I'm not although I'm tempted to say I am and call it a day.
It sounds like Southwest and maybe Delta were not affected. All other airlines are. And once flights are cancelled it obviously affects the whole day even though flight systems appear to be back up.
IT 101 is you install new/updated code on weekends. That wouldn't matter for flights but for other things it would have made a difference.
