It's so good and relaxing and fun.

Finally dove into unicorn overlord this weekend.

What a wonderful game. Depth, story telling, unit and team building. So cool.

I've really enjoyed watching her play while I've been doing other stuff. I did the tutorial myself...the fishing and sushi aspects are quite fun. I'm sure I'll enjoy the game if I dive deeper into it (so sorry about the pun).

Oh **** I completely forgot about this game. It came out the day I left the country for two weeks.

Has it been patched yet? I know that within days of it coming out people had figured out how to completely break it so you could basically finish the game inside of an hour.

Madden had a lot of problems, but uniformity was among the top (people online play the same, the computer plays the same). This game looks super fun, in that there are so many playbooks and team styles.

The idea of a league (played with friends) with up to 30 teams is amazing.

That video has me incredibly hype. I'm gonna lose so many damn hours into it.

CfB25 has to be good because it's going to be the same game, just with updated rosters and next-gen graphics, for the next 15 years.

Anyone been watching SGDQ? Thursday evening looks fun.

Halo 3
Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball
Sekiro
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Weather is gonna be crappy but with some luck I can watch fireworks on the porch and some videogame runs too.

I didn't realize it was SGDQ! Good looking out. I don't typically watch live, but always like to catch the clips on YT.

I told myself I wouldn’t get hyped for another game, let alone one by EA. But that dynasty deep dive seriously looked perfect. So similar to 2014 and it’s clear they’ve kept the good and improved on it. Gameplay looks smooth too, a change of pace from Madden which is slow and animated. I’m officially on the hype train!

I’m probably going to end up preordering CFB25 for the early access. Even if the gameplay ends up not being great, I’m positive I’ll pour a lot of hours into it for the team building aspects. That deep dive confirmed that I can do my promotion/relegation dynasty and start as a coordinator so I’m all in.

I'll be buying it despite my brain telling me its an EA game.

Listen, I've given Cyberpunk the good ol' college try, but I just think this game is **** boring. I don't know what I'm missing that everyone else loves (now).

I find a lot of open world games like Cyberpunk to be boring too. Thought the world they built was really cool though, and playing as a hacker (or whatever they call it in the game) was very fun. I can get on board with basically anything that allows you to play stealth and that's what I did in Cyberpunk; basically never shot a gun outside of the couple required parts.

I have not returned for the DLC yet though.

I was one of the rare people who loved it from the jump. However, it does take a long time to get going. Not just the Prologue, but all of Act 1 too.

To me the game becomes really special in Act 2, when you're doing a main mission for Judy and eventually getting out of town to go meet Panam. Or when you're doing an assassination mission for Takemura back in town that has you stalking the city's skyscrapers. The Voodoo boys questline is also very fun.

I never finished the Night City expansion, but that's on me because I thought it was really well done too. Idris plays a great character, and the whole thing is a like a 90s era spy thriller.

But yea, it's a bummer that the game takes so long to get to the good stuff.

ETA: Also, I found that the optional Gigs were also generally very worth while. I ignored them on my first play through, but on my second I cleared them all once the map opened up. There's dozens and they're great for when you just want to chill out with some usually interesting tasks.

Thanks guys. Man, it is indeed a bummer it starts so slow. I found Act 1's mission painfully trite and predictable, which led right into watching 15-20 minutes of story scenes I cared 0% about because of how the story had been going. It was such a chore. But if it picks up in Act 2, I'll give it a little more of a chance to see if it starts to lure me in now.

I wanted to play a stealth/sniper character also, and haven't really been able to do so yet. No sniper rifles yet, and I've basically been forced into being guns-blazing which kinda sucks. But maybe that will change too.

Edit: Oh,
Spoiler:
was also disappointed that my "choice" to help Evelyn or Dex did not matter at all (at least not yet).

I played it so long ago at this point that I don’t remember what Act 1 vs. Act 2 even is lol. I’m pretty positive I know what is considered the prologue. I don’t really remember when the hacker stuff really takes off but by the end of the game, I was basically incapacitating everyone without ever being in the vicinity of the enemy lol.
