It would be really lame to lose the team because the arena owner is a bum, the Herd draw well and have a good local presence here in the community. The arena has been for sale for a couple months now and the same article mentions that the Bucks would be willing to work with the new owner whoever that will be. I'm hoping this is a tactic by the Bucks to push Fox Valley Pro Basketball to sell the arena sooner rather than later because the arena is going to be a lot less valuable when you lose your tentpole tenant and they take those 20+ guaranteed dates with them.

Agreed. Hate to see Oshkosh lose them. I have not been yet, but by all accounts have heard its well supported and everyone says its a good time.

Is that the Sam Merrill? I thought he was a rotation player for the Cavs? This is kind of crazy.

Yeah, I'm not sure how this works cause like you said, I think he's still under contract with Cleveland.

Merrill is in the last year of a 3 year deal. So this is weird. Cleveland has their own G League team but he played 61 games for the Cavs last year. Interested in the whole story.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That is a strange one. Probably mostly about Hughes and the pick.

This could be the G League equivalent of a top 55 protected future pick from a bad team, i.e. something that has almost no chance to ever convey.

Seems like it's some kind of contingency rights in case he doesn't make an NBA roster and has to go back to the G League type of thing. Obviously very unlikely to occur.

The good news is Green is better than Merril. Sad to think that Merril is Horst's 2nd best draft pick.
