William Zabka

William Michael Zabka (syntynyt 20. lokakuuta 1965) on yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä, kamppailulajien taitaja, käsikirjoittaja, ohjaaja sekä tuottaja. Hän esiintyi useissa 1980-luvun menestyselokuvissa, kuten Johnny Lawrencen roolissa elokuvissa Karate Kid (1984) ja Karate Kid Part II (1986) sekä spin-off sarjassa Cobra Kai (2018–). Vuonna 2004, hän oli ehdolla Academy Awardin saajaksi lyhytelokuva Mostin kirjoittamisesta ja tuottamisesta.

Varhainen elämä

Zabka syntyi New Yorkissa Nancy ja Stanley Zabkalle. Hänellä on veli ja sisko.

Ura

Zabkan ensimmäinen rooli oli vuoden 1984 Karate Kidissä. Hän näytteli Johnny Lawrencea, elokuvan päävastustajaa Ralph Macchion näyttelemälle Daniel LaRussolle. Hänellä ei ollut kokemusta karatesta, mutta hän oli etevä painija. Osallistuminen elokuvaan innoitti häntä oppimaan itsepuolustuslajia nimeltä Tang Soo Do, jossa hän myöhemmin saavutti toisen asteen vihreän vyön.
