Mental Health and Entrepreneurship 🧠 We hosted our second Deep Tech Afternoon of the year not long ago. Over the years, dozens of entrepreneurs have participated in this event series, which originated from the Sparkup Incubator program. However, they all share a common goal: to remain mentally strong on the challenging journey of being a startup founder. This time, we focused on mental health. We invited seasoned experts Aleksander Tõnnisson, Madis Lehtmets, and Kadri Haljas, PhD to join our fireside chat and share their insights and experiences with the community. Ukraine 💙💛 I am back from a week in Ukraine and the collaboration between #Estonia and #Ukraine serves as a shining example of how technology and international cooperation can truly transform education! What makes me especially proud is seeing how #mentalhealth is being addressed in the educational sector and how our very own #mentalhealth game Triumfland Saga alongside our teacher training course Wellbeing Triumf is successfully implemented in almost 100 schools in Ukraine. We at Triumf Health hope to reach all kids in Ukraine so they would learn to manage their mental health through our evidence-based game. I am grateful for all the fruitful discussions we had with minister Kristina Kallas (Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia / Haridus- ja Teadusministeerium) and minister Oksen Lisovyi and deputy minister Dmytro Zavgorodnii (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine). I strongly believe that Estonia provides a unique concept of education innovation where promoted mental wellbeing creates the basis of excellent academic achievement. That being said, it's wonderful to have Peep Jahilo as the Ambassador-at-large for Education to support Estonian education export. I would also like to congratulate the board members of EdTech Ukraine Association Nataliya Limonova, Esben Trier, Yuriy Balkin, Denis Skrypka on a very successful launch of the organization! It was an honor for EdTech Estonia to sign the Memorandum of Understanding with you! I'm sure that fruitful collaboration is ahead! I am more than grateful to our business diplomat Reelika Virunurm from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and Ando Rehemaa from the Embassy of Estonia in Kyiv for organizing a successful business delegation visit. The event was funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU. It was a wonderful visit for us all from EdTech Estonia including Liis Siiroja (KideoCall) Rasmus Gross (ELIIS Education Software), Omari Loid (Praktikal), Jüri-Mikk Udam (kood/Jõhvi), Asko Berens (Navicup). It was a pleasure to reconnect with the wonderful Anu-Mall Naarits (Visionest Institute) changing the business landscape in Ukraine with export training. Today is World Mental Health Day, a global moment to come together and talk about mental health. It's important to remember that mental health matters, and by checking in with friends, family, and colleagues, we can help each other navigate life’s challenges. Conversations about mental health create space for support, understanding, and resilience. At Triumf Health, we are doing our best to contribute to mental health support globally. In Ukraine, nearly 80 schools are using our Triumf methodology, which includes the Triumfland Saga mental health game for children and the Wellbeing Triumf online course for teachers. We are excited to see children and teachers actively engaging with these tools to improve their mental health and well-being.
