Unfortunately this is a racist term used applied to any number of ethnically dark races.

The rough translation is "Black Ghost" however there are serious overtones as regards the actual meaning, it is a highly derogatory term. Specifically it does not translate directly to the American 'N' word, but rather covers any number of Dark skinned races.
