Tumbak is a small bajo village, mostly fishermen. It has limited tourist development for now limited by fragmented land ownership.
Get in
From Manado, take a bus to Ratahan from Karombasan bus terminal in Manado, Rp 35,000 (or to Langoan with change in Langoan Terminal/Church to Ratahan, Rp 25,000+12,000). As usual, expect old minibus leaving only when full (completely full). Then take an ojek or a bentor from the “pertigaan” (t-crossing, next to Kifran restaurant) before Ratahan, Rp 30,000-50,000. A taxi from Manado would be around Rp 500,000-600,000 for about 2-3h trip.
The last part of the road from Tantengesan Satu is smaller, passing through rice fields and easily flooded. If in motorbike, you possibly can get feet wet.
