Sierpe is a small town at the base of the Osa Peninsula in South Costa Rica.
Understand
Sierpe is a little town located close to the national park Corcovado. It is a very small town with only a few inhabitants. Everything in town is right next to the river Rio Sierpe which is influenced by the sea.
Get in
Get around
See
Walk amound Sierpe and you will see some of the local children play a game of soccer. You will eventually see some scarlet macaws flying over.
Do
Hire a watertaxi and ride over the river from Sierpe to Corcovado national park. You will go from the river mouth into the sea. You will pas some manggroves on the way to the park. Depending on your budget you can choose from two different starting points where the boats will stop. Be prepared to get your feet wet.
