Núria Añó (born 1973, Lleida, Spain) is a Catalan and a Spanish writer and novelist. Author of Els nens de l'Elisa (Elisa's Children), L'escriptora morta (The Dead Writer), Núvols baixos (Low Clouds) or La mirada del fill (The Son's Gaze), among others. Her writing focuses on the characters' psychology. Frequently, the core of her stories remains unexplained. Añó asks the reader to discover the "deeper meaning" and to become involved actively in the events presented.
