Robert Greene born May 14, 1959 in Los Angeles is an American author specialised in books about strategy, power and seduction. His family is Jewish. He attended University of California, Berkeley and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A in classical studies. Earlier, he was an editor and writer for magazines, including Esquire and a Hollywood movie writer. His first book was The 48 Laws of Power (1998), which became a best-seller with more than 1 million copies sold in the US. Other books of his like The Art of Seduction and The 33 Strategies of War have also been successful.
