Meta's name was stolen from another company. Mark Zuckerberg sent a request to buy the name "META" from this company. They declined. Mark then stole the name anyway and used it, using his money to dismiss the smaller company. Thats how this despicable company opperates. It doesn't need laws, it just takes what it wants. 49.195.6.46 (talk) 21:05, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Reception"

[edit]

"Reception" is not an appropriate section name.

Unqualified, "Reception" as the name of a section in an article about a conglomerate means, on its face, "reception of the conglomerate".

Rename to "Rebranding Reception" or some such. 2603:3024:1818:4800:DC86:2F45:2F8B:466E (talk) 19:26, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Add "Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg acknowledged in a letter on Monday that Facebook faced pressure from the Biden-Harris administration to censor certain content, particularly related to COVID-19. This admission came in a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, over a year after Zuckerberg had already supplied the committee with thousands of documents as part of its investigation into content moderation on online platforms."
