Merge

[edit]

It looks to me like this article and Laurentian Highlands cover the same thing. I suggest we merge this article to that one. --Skylights76 (talk) 09:35, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not opposed to it. However, the correct geologic term (according to USGS) is Laurentian Upland, though it may be that Laurentian Highlands is commonly used as well. When I created this page, I failed to search for other variations of the name that may have already existed here. wbfergus Talk 11:25, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with you, and I've changed the templates accordingly. We should merge the other article into this one. --Skylights76 (talk) 12:02, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've merged the contents of that article into this one per our discussion. --Skylights76 (talk) 23:39, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Section rewrite needed

[edit]

The section about the Laurentian Highlands seems to be a copyvio of the article Home > The Canadian Encyclopedia > Geography > Land Features > Laurentian Highlands IMHO the wikipedia article needs a re-write. SriMesh | talk 01:06, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
