Although I did not create this article I will correct and expand it ASAP & also remove any plagarism. Bob Childers was a very very highly regarded singer/songwriter from Oklahoma who passed away recently. He wrote over 1500 songs and was his works have been covered by over 200 other artists... Very notable person. Chris B Critter (talk) 03:17, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

begining to create a new Bob Childers page. Hope to have it done today or tomorrow. Thanks Chris B Critter (talk) 19:06, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

threw something up but already disappointed in it! I will keep working on it but relish anyone else's contributions. Possible areas that need work: Bob Childers links to Woody Guthrie's family & the Woody Guthrie festival & the traveling Woody Guthrie tribute also Bob's friendship and influence over other artists: especially Jimmy Lafavre, Tom Skinner & Garth Brooks. But also all the other "Red Dirt" bands including Cody Canada, Randy Crouch, Red Dirt Rangers, Scott Evans, Jason Boland & Mike McClure. That said, the Red Dirt (music) entry on wikipedia needs huge work itself. It's hard to fix Bob entry up with that one so sorely lacking. I will keep working on this. Many thanks to those who worked to improve this page! appreciate it. God Bless Bob. Chris B Critter (talk) 08:06, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome, Chris.  :-) I also did some major work on Red Dirt (music). Kmzundel (talk) 14:27, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
