Beginning a re-write

I have rewritten the lead and added refs. In my opinion, the previous lead overemphasized Beckham's recording career, which was only temporary. His real success and came in music publishing and his ability to discover and develop talent. Fascinating subject, more to come. - Eagledj (talk) 19:07, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
