The result of the move request was: moved. Per consensus. Note: though there's a quibble over the casing of the first letter, technical limitation on the first letter captialisation (see WP:NCLOWERCASEFIRST) means that the article will be moved to the uppercase version regardless. {{tl|lowercase title}} should resolve the display of title, if anyone is interested. At-Ta'i → al-Ta'i – Sun letter assimilation is ignored most of the time in English-language sources, as it is a phonetic phenomenon (and not universal at that). Cf. the Encyclopaedia of Islam article, or the Cambridge History of Iran, Hanne's book or Kennedy's book, both of which are practically standard works. Constantine ✍ 10:41, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- Support per norm. --HistoryofIran (talk) 11:42, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- Comment. If this is moved, then the first letter needs to be capitalized Al-Ta'i. As a general rule we don't start article titles with a lower-case letter. Rreagan007 (talk) 20:59, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nom and also support lower-case al-, but I realize this is not followed consistently across the encyclopedia. It might be a good idea to decide if article titles beginning with the Arabic definite article should be consistently lower-case. WP:MOSAR does not cover this.
