Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests
Appearance
If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."
If you are here because you want an admin to approve of your new article or your proposed page move, you are in the wrong place.

- To list a technical request: Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:
This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.
{{subst:RMassist|current page title|new title|reason=edit summary for the move}}
the - If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
- If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.
Technical requests
Edit this section if you want to move a request from Uncontroversial to Contested.

- José Venegas "El Bronco" (currently a redirect to José "El Bronco" Venegas) → José "El Bronco" Venegas (move · discuss) – common formatting places the stagename in the middle instead of after the surname -- 65.93.183.33 (talk) 16:52, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- Queen of Da Souf (currently a redirect to Queen of da Souf) → Queen of da Souf (move · discuss) – "da" is acting as a definite article here. Per MOS:TITLECAPS. - UnlabeledPunk (talk) 19:38, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

- Las Tunas → Las Tunas (disambiguation) (currently a redirect back to Las Tunas) (move) – Per § Requested move 4 March 2021. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 15:58, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

- For the closing reason, there were no objections and no minimum participation is required per WP:RM/CI#Determining consensus. The actual moving reason is wp:primary topic and wp:consistent, which can be obtained by summarizing the nomination of the IP. Should this contest be considered objection? So far, it looks like a question rather than an objection. ~ Aselestecharge-paritytime 04:10, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- Las Tunas is a disambig page. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 10:38, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

- The RM also requested renaming that page to "(disambiguation)". I put it under § Uncontroversial technical requests. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 16:22, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry, missed the linked RM discussion. Still, I object; no rationale was even presented there for the primarytopic grab, and nobody supported it (and yes, nobody objected, too; sorry I missed the chance). If this gets executed, I will open an RM to undo it. Dicklyon (talk) 19:01, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- Seems to be a valid close, but might as well re-open the discussion and relist now that there's some actual discussion happening—closer willing. -2pou (talk) 19:07, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
