Hey everybody, not a puppet last I checked. I organize wikipedia edit-a-thons and have been editing for a few years now in good faith. I also teach new students and new editors every year, normally embedded within university classes. As mentioned, my last few edit-a-thons have been at Cornell University where I teach. I can attest these guys are not sock puppets. The reason they were created on the same day is that they were introduced to Wiki through an editathon, and began editing notable South Asian visual artists. I know Jwahi and JVadera personally, JVadera is a professor at Cornell and JWahi runs an art space in NJ. I believe UzmaZRizvi works with JVadera. What I imagine happened is that they were trying to help the page but perhaps are unfamiliar with protocol. I'll check on the page. *I am closing this SPI with a warning note to all the accounts in question. {{re|Pharos|Vexations|Heathart}} I can understand that the administrative side is frustrating to you and to new editors{{snd}}we were all new editors once. These SPIs are the only way we have to prevent the incredible amount of spam and abuse that comes to Wikipedia; no one likes driving away new editors, but until we've got a better system this process is what we have to do. I'd be grateful if you could take a few minutes at future outreach events to discuss how important it is not to canvass and not to engage in meatpuppetry, since it does make life a lot harder for folks who are trying to prevent legitimate damage. Suspected sockpuppets

Both were registered the same day in 2016. The suspected sock was inactive since April 2016 and returned today only to remove the speedy deletion tag from Sarita Khurana created by the master. GSS 💬 02:32, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also adding Jwahi, an account that was inactive since March 2017 only returned to contest the deletion +Mrg12345 who was registered yesterday for the same purpose. Looking at the age of these accounts I'm requesting CU. GSS 💬 02:42, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This edit by UzmaZRizvi on their user page show they have a connection with the master, and in that case, they are violating WP:MEAT and just after I reverted UzmaZRizvi's edit user Jwahi appeared and removed the speedy deletion tag. GSS 💬 03:25, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
