John Murray (died before 1640), of Lochmaben, Dumfries, St Martin's Lane, Westminster and Guildford Park, Surrey, was an English politician.

He accompanied King James I to England in 1603 and was a groom of the bedchamber from 1603 to 1622, keeper of the privy purse from 1611 to 1625 and gentleman of the bedchamber from 1622 to 1625.

He was a Member (MP) of the Parliament of England for Guildford in 1621.[1]
