Alcock & Brown's Vickers Vimy at the Science Museum, South Kensington, 11/08. The first aircraft to cross the Atlantic in 1919. The Vimy was the final British heavy bomber design of WWI but too late to see operational service; nonetheless, it was the principal heavy bomber of the RAF well into the 1920s.
