English: Oath of allegiance signed by Pierre Beliveau: "This certifies that Pierre Beliveau, an Acadian, appeared personally this day, before his Majesty's Court of General Sessions of the Peace for the County of Kings County, and took the Oath of Allegiance and Fidelity to his Majesty, according to the form prescribed by the Government of this Province. Given under my hand this thirty-first day of May 1768."
