Contentious topics notification

[edit]
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Uyghurs, Uyghur genocide, or topics that are related to Uyghurs or Uyghur genocide. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Corinne Peek-Asa

[edit]

Hello! Since you are a member of WikiProject Women in Red and help maintain the Fellowships page, I was wondering if you might be able to review a draft I've submitted at Articles for Creation: Draft:Corinne Peek-Asa. I have disclosed my conflict of interest as an AfC comment and on the draft's Talk page, in compliance with Terms of Use, and I'd like to think the draft is accurate, neutral, and clear at demonstrating the subject's notability. Thanks for your consideration, Inkian Jason (talk) 18:23, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Inkian Jason: Sorry, I'm not an AFC reviewer and can't help; in the meantime, it's best that you wait patiently since almost all AFC drafts take at most three months to get a accept/decline. But outside some potentially outdatable info on the number of peer-reviewed papers, the article does look good at the least. ミラP@Miraclepine 18:31, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks for your fast reply. Inkian Jason (talk) 14:58, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Kanaria (musician)

[edit]

On 23 August 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kanaria (musician), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Kanaria's song "King" has been characterized as an allegory for the house arrest, trial, and execution of Louis XVI? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kanaria (musician). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Kanaria (musician)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
