First, I know nothing of Korean history - BUT this aritlce would appear to refer to events during the Seven-Year War so the admiral referenced would appear to be Yi Sun-sin which would make Myeongjong of Joseon an alternate name/tile for King Seonjo? This all needs taking in hand by someone with a proper knowledge of Korean history - and the transliteration of Korean names into the Roman alphabet.

Unfortunately the current level of description in this article would appear to be a Korean equivalent to the British history of 1066 and All That.

Myeongjong was the king of Joseon before Seonjo stop confusing yourself 202.37.167.84 05:48, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ref removal

[edit]

Hello @NXcrypto, I saw you reverted my recent edit. I don't believe the content that I deleted aligns with Wikipedia standards. As per my edit comment, they were "Unsourced details not about the primary subject of the article that appear like refs but aren't". See WP:INDISCRIMINATE; I think policy backs me up on this edit.

For a similar conversation I had with another user, please see the first post on User talk:104.232.119.107#April 2024. 104.232.119.107 (talk) 05:03, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also you didn't leave an edit comment, could you explain the reversion? 104.232.119.107 (talk) 05:03, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You cleary removed the sources. [1] NXcrypto (talk) 05:05, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please read what's inside the references in the page you just linked. Do any of those contain sources, or are they miscellaneous claims about people? 104.232.119.107 (talk) 05:05, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, sorry. Thank you . Appreciating your work. Reverting back. Keep it up. NXcrypto (talk) 05:07, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, thank you for discussing this with me. 104.232.119.107 (talk) 05:07, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
