Feedback requested
[edit]@Another Believer:, @Jaespinoza: I just expanded the list and was wondering if either of you could provide since you both have experience working with the Latin Grammy lists. Thanks! Erick (talk) 19:13, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks for your work on this list. I wonder if it would be better to have a separate row for each person. That way we could actually align nationalities with individuals and sort by the table by name. Also, the names should probably be displayed alphabetically by year by default, then people can sort differently if they want. If individual rows are created, you may then want to add inline citations. I hope this helps! ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:51, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
- Great idea! I'm surprised that never occurred to me. My only question is what do you mean by inline citations? On the references, I link to the page that shows all the recipients award unless you meant something else. Thanks for the feedback! Erick (talk) 19:57, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
@Another Believer: And done! Have a look at the list and tell me what you think. Also, could you check out the prose and see if everything is okay before I nominate this for FL? Erick (talk) 00:04, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
Is the "Occupation(s)" column really necessary? ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:21, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- @Another Believer:, On the failed FLC, one user commented that the list provided nothing about the artists, so I added the occupation column and copied their roles from the LG website, but I can remove it if it is unneeded. I'm open to any suggestions. Erick (talk) 15:47, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- I guess listing the occupations is fine as long as they come from the Grammy site and are not arbitrary or subjective. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:08, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: Fair enough. Would you say everything else is good to go? I'm still confident that I can bring this to FL. Erick (talk) 22:54, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
I've not read the first FL review to see why it failed, butI think the list looks great! Ping me if you decide to nominate again so I can (hopefully) follow along. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:56, 2 May 2016 (UTC)- @Another Believer: Will do! I'll go ahead and re-nominate this FL. Thanks again for your help! Erick (talk) 22:59, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

Feeback request: Round 2
[edit]@Another Believer:, @Jaespinoza:, so after my failed attempt at getting this FL, I expanded the list further by listing the occupation(s) of the artists and their birth years. I left the occupations field blank for the 2014 and 2015 recipients because it's not listed on the LG website and I didn't list births for bands because I don't know if it would be appropriate or not. You guys did a great job with the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year article and I could use your expertise on this once more. Thanks! Erick (talk) 00:15, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

Issues on this upcoming TFL
[edit]This is scheduled to appear as the TFL on Friday, July 17, but currently has a number of issues:
- Remove the background colour in the header, so that it can be seen that it is a sortable table. Done
- Add a row caption, per the recent RFC on table captions (closed back in May). Done
- The "Occupation(s)" column is inconsistent about whether the entries are capitalised or not. Done
- Ref #2 is missing author details. Done
- Ref #3 is dead. Done
- Ref #5, the archive date needs to be consistently formatted like the other dates. Done
- Ref #8 shouldn't have "| NME" in the title. Done
- Ref #10 is dead. Done
- Ref #12 is dead. Done
- Ref #17 is dead. Done
- Ref #18 is missing author details. Harrias talk 10:20, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
