"Anangpa" or "A Nang Pa"?
[edit]Anangpa is used in the opening paragraph, and in the first sentence of the Incident section ... but in the infobox it's A Nang Pa three times. Is it possible for one consistent spelling? Prisoner of Zenda (talk) 00:27, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- Given the obscurity, it's hard to find any official romanization of the area in Burmese (အနန့်ပါ). I've tried looking into this, including any government maps and surveys to check and didn't find anything.
- In standard Burmese romanization it would be Anantpa, but I suspect A Nang Pa is closer to local Jingpho language pronunciation. I've gone and updated to Anangpa for consistency and anyone is free to update if they find something more concrete than my arbitrary decision.
