A tag has been placed on Ipswich Buses Service 13, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 18:22, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering why no one has looked or edited my new page, London Buses route C10 92.13.101.103 (talk) 19:37, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry that this message is being repeated, I forgot that I hadn't logged in. Can anyone help improve London Buses route C10 Dennisman (talk) 19:42, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Dennisman. Your page had somehow been named "London buses route C10" with a lowercase 'b', which prevented Wikipedia from automatically linking it from other pages that had links to "London Buses route C10". I moved your page to remedy its orphan status, as well as adding the London Bus infobox, the navbox for London Buses routes, and appropriate categories. I came across your article after it had been flagged as an uncategorized article so I am not very familiar with the subject, but WikiProject London Transport should have guidelines and advice for further improving your article. Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia! --Oddharmonic (talk) 09:45, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Dennisman, I have added a bit more info to the London Buses route C10 on the infobox. its only a small edit but I don't know much about the history of the route, Sorry. Matt G (talk) 17:02, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Class 37/7 locomotives

On the West Coast Railway Company] page, it says that 37717 is the only class 37/7 of the four bought from EWS that will not be returned to service, yet I have read that 37710 is the one not to return to the main line. Don't reply if you think I am being stupid. Dennisman (talk) 19:42, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another Bus Route

I have created a new page, London Buses route 215, and made a mess of it. I don't suppose someone could fix it? Dennisman (talk) 12:46, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of London Buses route 215

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article London Buses route 215, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable bus route.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Graymornings(talk) 12:52, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's unsourced, and it's a minor route that doesn't have any special significance. (The WP:BUSES page: "Note that minor routes do not need to have a separate article, but can simply be mentioned in a list.") The info should be placed in the London Buses article or deleted. As you must know, there are over a hundred London Buses routes, and each individual one can't possibly have its own article. If you'd like, you can remove the proposed deletion template and place this on WP:AFD instead. Graymornings(talk) 16:01, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to say...

Just wanted to make it clear that I appreciate the work you're doing to improve transport articles on Wikipedia. You're doing a great job so far, and I hope you keep it up, because it's what makes Wikipedia so awesome. (I also hate bendi-buses - they make me queasy!) User needs help

I just need to know how to create userboxes on my user page, and infoboxes on London Bus route pages. Dennisman (talk) 17:47, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great!

I've got 2 new pages up, which I am very proud of. London Buses route 147 and London Buses route D8. Enjoy and post back to me what ypu think of them. See you soon with more new pages. Dennisman (talk) 17:20, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any new information needed on these locomotives? Dennisman (talk) 11:25, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've added my new pages. Visit British Rail Class 37/7 and British Rail Class 170/2 and tell me what they are like. Dennisman (talk) 11:36, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Norwich Park and Ride

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Norwich Park and Ride, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Is a Park and Ride notable?

Mr. Vernon (talk) 16:38, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have added some extra information, and left a note on your talk page. Please reply and say what you think. Dennisman 16:53, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

The extra information is interesting, but the question is, is this notable WP:NOTABILITY? I honestly don't think it is; there are many, many Park and Rides throughout the world. How is this one unique? Read the guidelines for more information. --Mr. Vernon (talk) 16:57, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is the biggest park and ride facillity in Britain. I thought that there wasn't enough information on it on the Norwich page. Dennisman 17:00, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

I think it is notable, as it is the biggest such system in Britain. Therefore, I think it needs its own article. --Dennisman (talk) 15:18, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 10:53, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My signing button and four tildes dosen't work anymore. Just look at the end of the note, when I put my signature on. Dennisman 13:27, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

See. Dennisman 13:28, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

You have probably changed the format of your signature. Go to "my preferences", then the "User profile" tab, and check the "Signature" field and the "Raw signature" checkbox. If "Raw signature" is checked, then the "Signature" field should contain wikicode, including something like [[User:Dennisman|Dennisman]]. If "Raw signature" is unchecked, then the "Signature" field should not contain wikicode. —AlanBarrett (talk) 09:36, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's fine now. --Dennisman (talk) 17:58, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a fleetlist onto the page. What do you think about it. Dennisman 13:29, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Re: FAQ

Go to "my preferences" -> uncheck raw signature and save. --slakrtalk / 01:44, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What Happened!

My computer packs up for 3 days and one of my pages has been redirected! Why? Surely the Dennis Arrow bus deserves its own page, like Norwich park and ride. Anyone tell me otherwise, and why it was redirected? --Dennisman (talk) 16:36, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Norwich park and ride

Unfortunately they are copyrighted images on Fotopic so cannot be put on Wikipedia as they have non-free licenses. Arriva436talk/contribs 17:34, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anglian Bus

Yes, that fleet summary is excellent. I've fixed a couple of links, part apart from that it was fine. I think a fleet summary is of much more use that a fleetlist, as a large fleet list pointlessly gives too much info that can be found elsewhere. A summary is much more useful! Speedy deletion of Ipswich park and ride

A tag has been placed on Ipswich park and ride requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. Cabe6403 (TalkSign!) 17:40, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you feel the page will meet WP:N then add the {{hangon}} tag to the article under the speedy tag. An administrator will review the page and your rational for keeping the page and make an informed decision. Thank you for taking the time to edit Wikipedia -- Cabe6403 (TalkSign!) 17:51, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I have an up to date fleet list available on my blog: here's a direct link to the fleet list: http://www.norwichbuspage.com/p/fleet-lists_5.html

I've recently udpated pictures and info etc but some dick head from London keeps changing it back because apparently a Norwich-based enthusiast isn't a reliable enough source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ZakNelson1995 (talkcontribs) 09:24, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
