Marriage stress points
The article does not mention other stress points in Curtis' marriage. In "Empire" a witness, Katrina Ludlow (portrayed by Julia Roberts), claims to have had an affair with him, though it is untrue. Curtis refers to this incident later as having been a leading factor in Deborah's health and state of mind. The episode also indicated that Curtis was not as worried about what the public thought about his relationship with Ludlow, but that the public scrutiny was difficult for Deborah. Anyone want to add this? MagnoliaSouth (talk) 18:31, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
Name?
He's Hispanic, speaks Spanish, loses his cool when he hears an anti-Hispanic slur -- but his surname is English (Anglo-Norman to be precise). Is this ever explained? Isaac Rabinovitch (talk) 01:42, 22 July 2012 (UTC).
I always assumed his surname was anglicized from Cortez, to make it easier to pronounce.
Bill Clinton Support
I changed the reference to Curtis’ support of Bill Clinton from “is” to “claimed to be” because he said this in the context of speaking to a female student to whom he was attracted. He could be exaggerating or lying. For example, in the same conversation, he gave an equivocal answer when the woman asked him if he worked on Wall Street. 2603:7000:3D40:1902:B9C9:6110:468C:312B (talk) 02:47, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
