Did Justice Jackson have a romantic involvement with a female staff member or is that another historical inaccuracy?
The mini-series shows Justice Jackson (Alec Baldwin), who is married, becoming romantically involved with his female staff member, Elsie Douglas (Jill Hennessy), to the point where he tells her that they will have some "decisions to make" when they return to the United States. There is also a scene very early in the movie that suggests that he may not be on good terms with his wife. The Wikipedia entry on Jackson shows him having only one wife, although this doesn't mean that he could not have had a "mistress" outside of marriage.
So: Did Justice Jackson have a romantic involvement with a female staff member during the Nuremberg trials or is that another historical inaccuracy in the mini-series? 2605:E000:CB07:6400:803D:9318:CDA6:48B2 (talk) 08:30, 10 January 2020 (UTC)
